A CRYING GEM
Agatha For years, I hadn't felt a single spark for any other living being. Had shut myself in a dark world where no one ever bothered to dive in. Not till I met Mr Trouble himself. Then I moved schools and met this uptight redhead that everyone feared and avoided because she bathed in luxury. I wanted to test just how far she could go. How deep she could venture in her lavish lifestyle. I thought she was a spoiled brat thinking nobody leveled up to her class. I had vowed to humiliate and scar her. And that, I did. But later realised I was hurting myself too. Along the way, I might have found a much troubled soul than mine. The Bloodsworn
Book one in the Bloodsworn trilogy So here's how life used to go: We'd go to school, study, have fun, fight the occasional hunter or two, and mostly deal with everyday highschool drama. Just by looking at us, all you'd see is a great group of friends dealing with the everyday tortures of life. But maybe you should've looked a bit closer. I'm Luna Pines, and I'm the last werewolf. My whole life I've lived in secret from everybody except my friends. There are 8 of us in total, Alayna, Caroline, Timberly, Jackson, Nick, Hunter, and Jay. I don't know much about being what I am, nor how to control it very well. But the one thing that always bothered me was being alone, there's nothing I want more than to share my gift with someone else, someone just like me. So when Luke Masters shows up at school, with a shock to his touch, it seems like paradise for me. That is, until his brother's baggage makes my life, and my friends lives, hell. And here I am thinking I've got everything pretty much figured out about being a werewolf, but I have much to learn. With Vampires, Sylphs, Revenge, and Alpha powers coming to drive me insane, I'm not sure what's right and what's wrong anymore. My friends are slipping, I'm slipping, everything I've worked so hard to keep normal has gone away completely. I've lost my grip on reality, and I'm being forced into the world of the paranormal. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
