After the Faunus Rights Revolution, the old order of the world was destroyed, and it is in this time of change, in the ashes of this old world, where our story begins.
Set 13 years before the events of RWBY, this tale follows four young hunters-to-be, whose names wouldn't be remembered by history, but whose actions changed the world.
Faust Zinnober, a violent survivor of unknown origins.
Enam Calima, a nomad who wants to know and protect Remnant.
Narcissa Mauve, a girl who dreams of becoming a hero like her father.
Qilla Onca, a faunus girl adrift in the oceans of fate.
This is their story.

Title inspired by Mitmite2 Most of the Jaune Arc fanfictions I read just aren't good enough. They either make him impossibly op or he's unjustly betrayed. And too many of them give him a harem. It's getting pretty old so I decided to change that. As a child, Jaune Arc decided that he would become a huntsmen just like his hero of a great-great-grandfather. But his father can't train him after an accident and the rest of his family doesn't know how. So he tries to teach himself. Of course he's failing miserably. With his dream seemingly impossible to achieve, he decides to continue trying to train himself, but then a willing stranger comes along. What next for our wannabe hero. Only time will tell.
