When a group of kids were adopted by a financially stable family, they were not originally expecting to be close. They all were sent to the same school, where a couple of the newly-christened siblings created a Science Club, which was made for nerds, by nerds. Evie, the oldest of the adopted siblings, tried to not be associated with the nerds in her family and attempted to fit in with other groups, but she always ended up back in the supportive arms of her adoptive siblings, much to her dismay. However, she knew that they'd always welcome her back, so it didn't bother her all that much. One day, a mysterious family moves in across the street from the kids, and the children of that family begin to attend the same school as the children. Evie rejoiced, thinking that the kids from that family could be her ticket to getting out of the nerdy stereotype. However, the kids didn't seem interested in having any friends, so Evie sulked yet again. But little did she know that this mysterious family was going to change her life - for the better, or for the worst. Evie was going to make unlikely friends, unlikely enemies. And her life, as well as her siblings, would never be the same.

Destiny. It was a funny thing. I had always thought that I could create my own destiny. But after attending my junior year at Nox Haven, I knew that wasn't possible. My destiny was written two hundred years before my birth, when my ancestor- The Dark Warlock- created a cult of Dark Ones. It was my destiny to rid the world of his mistake- but I didn't know how. That was the funny part, I knew what I had to do but I didn't know how. Nobody wrote that part of the prophecy. I would figure it out though, two of my beloved friends were dead because the Dark Ones. I swore on their graves that no one else would follow. **Book Three in the Nox Haven Series**
