Juliet:
It was a Wednesday night and I was drunk. Well, more like tipsy. No, that's a lie I was basically the dictionary definition of drunk right now. Yet, I could still feel his burning stare on my back as I danced. I turned to meet the icy blue stare of a handsome stranger; his whole countenance radiated danger that attracted me in a way no boy ever had before. Who was I kidding, he wasn't a boy; he was a man. I was entranced; he was like no man I had ever seen before. He was everything that my father had told me I could never be with; dangerous; rough; criminal; and, worst of all, white.
I had nothing against white men, of course. It was just an obvious rule in my strict household that we do not talk to white people; we do not become friends with white people; and we most definitely do not date them. For this reason, I had never even taken a second look at a white man, no matter how attractive. However, I could not seem to look away from this one; it was like I was trapped and I couldn't look away even if I wanted to, and trust me I didn't.
Blake:
I could never be with Juliet, the life of a crime boss' wife is not one most people can handle. I wouldn't want her to be tainted by that life style, if we were to ever be together. Plus, we could never have a family. At any given moment I could be killed. She could be killed. I can't let that happen. I refuse to end up like my papa. It is better to marry someone that I do not love, to save myself any heartbreak.
So, I decided that just for tonight I will pretend that Juliet is mine. But, after tonight, we will not see each other again.
If only I knew how hard that was going to be.

It's just another star crossed lover story, but this time with a twist.

"OH MY GOD." I quickly remove my hands from Ethan's face, but he keeps his arms around me. It was Lorena. "I leave you...outside for two hours.....and you're already fucking someone. I love this for you. I love.....college for you." She slurs her words and drunkenly stumbles towards us. Callie and her boyfriend Cameron come out, not two seconds later. I push Ethans arms from around me softly and get up and out the pool. I know my face looks guilty as hell. "What's going on? Why is Lorena screaming?" Cameron asks, looking at us both, and the guy in the pool questioningly. "Nova...was fucking that hot guy." Lorena grins at Cameron and Callie gapes at me. "I was not!" "She was not!" Ethan and I scream in unison. But how am I supposed to plead my case if I'm standing here, wearing nothing but his shirt, and both of us have a pile of clothes on the floor outside the pool. I look guilty. "Nova you sly dog." Lorena smirks and stumbles towards me, putting her hand on my shoulder.
