The time goes on and the boys are pop stars while Katniss is the babysitter as always, at age 21. At least she is graduated. She has to get Annie and Prim to school and keep them alive. When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. Maybe even more than I loved my own father. I felt bad, that my own dad couldn't compare to Katniss'. He loved me too though. Loved me like his own. The day he died was the first in a long line of times I have ever seen Katniss cry. She never cried before then but she cried a lot after. Mrs. Everdeen lives in katniss's old victor home and is a grandmother to twins. Diana Mellark and Finnick Mellark. Gale lives in district two with his own family. Haymitch is a grandfather because he married Katniss's mom after all they went through. Katniss and Peeta's kids are very different. Diana is like Katniss and has her skills with a bow and arrow and hunting. She has her father's talent with a sword, painting, and baking. Finnick on the other hand is like his aunt Prim and grandmother. He likes to take care of people. The story starts with Diana as a seventeen-year-old on the day of the reaping of the 99th hunger games. The Mellarks have a track record for being in love with their district partner. Will it happen again with one of their kids. Also Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch don't have to be mentors. I don't own the characters of the original hunger games. Every one know the story of how my older sister, Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, and her fellow tribute, Peeta Mellark, won The Hunger Games. This is my story, when I, Primrose Everdeen, was picked to compete in the 76th Hunger Games. ~~~~ I was reaped once, for the 74th annual Hunger Game. I was 12, my first year being entered. My sister promised me nothing would go wrong, even gave me a mockingjay pin to protect me. We both went to the reaping, and my name was pulled. Let me just say, the odds were not in my favor. Katniss volunteered. I screamed and begged her not to go, but she did, for me. She protected me. Like the mockingjay pin, she was my mockingjay. It;s been five years since then, I’m 17 now. I’ve learned how to throw knives, hunt and climb trees, in fear of being reaped. Sure enough, the day of reaping comes around and I’m reaped.
