As her mother dies and her friends graduated and moved away. Mia decided to leave England and move back to where she grew in Mullingar Ireland with her father and her 6 year old brother and follow her dreams of becoming a writer.
She at first feels lonely and unwanted but then she falls in love with a soldier Niall, Niall Horan who dropped out of school and entered in the army not knowing what to do with his life. Their mutual attraction quickly grows into the kind of love that leaves Mia waiting for Niall to finish his tour of duty and Niall wanting to settle down with the woman who stole his heart.
