High school, a natural nightmare on its own that draws out the worst in people. Areum tried to avoid this faith by staying out of the light of the highly populated Kang High School. She survived two years already without anyone catching on to her by having a cold personality but suddenly Wonwoo is trying to knock down the walls she heavily made around herself because of her condition. Areum suffers from having a schizoid personality disorder. However that doesn't stop Wonwoo from trying to get close to her.

Schizoid personality disorder is an uncommon condition in which people avoid social activities and consistently shy away from interaction with others. They also have a limited range of emotional expression.

If you have schizoid personality disorder, you may be seen as a loner or dismissive of others, and you may lack the desire or skill to form close personal relationships. Because you don't tend to show emotion, you may appear as though you don't care about others or what's going on around you.
