Lilian and her friends Sophie and Evie are the last hybrids on earth. No one knows their secret and they have to keep moving every few years because they are looking for someplace that sticks out to them and is the place they want to stay for the rest of their lives.

Lilian, Sophie, and Evie are 17 years old. Their birthday is on the same day. Which just so happens to be one the same day they start at a new school. They are in their senior year of high school and turn 18 after they move. They decide that since they are moving 3 days after school starts that they'll just wait until after they move to start school.

When they arrive at this school something seems off and they can't figure out what.
