I close my eyes, and I drift back to the dark peace.

For as long as I could remember, with every bright and happy day, came my dark and dreaded time. I guess yesterday was better than I thought.

Remember how I told you about the void? Well. This is what happens. When or why? I have no fucking clue. But what I did know was that I was safe as long as I am hiding under these covers. What I knew was that Aiden knew something was up when I saw him using my phone to text someone. I figured something was wrong when he kissed me on my forehead and said he'd be back. I saw the hesitation in his smile the way I can feel the dark consume my heart in odd comfort.

If he returns, great. If not, I'll just stay here some more.
