When Klaus was a child-albeit a very messed up one at that-he spent most of his days under the roof of one Reginald Hargreeves, blessed with the oh-so-wonderful company of his six siblings, all of which were so dysfunctional that he had to remind himself often that they were capable of human emotions (his self-proclaimed father was a very different story, but one that he very much would like to not go into).

But nobody said anything about him staying there at night, 'nor the days where he'd slip away only to be dragged back by his angry but subconsciously worried siblings days, or sometimes weeks, later.

Russell Effi had always been an escape for Klaus Hargreeves, but when his father mysteriously winds up dead from a supposed heart attack, he finds out that there's a lot more to him that he first thought.
