So this was written for a writing competition called Write With Zo, we had to write a story that used the plot points provided by Zo. We were required to fit the story into 500, which is no easy task. I had so many ideas and I really wanted to build on the story and the actual character, so I was thinking after this competition is over that I could continue to build on the tale and really make it into something.
So I hope you enjoy!

This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. The Suggestion Box, Vol. 4: A to Z Challenge by KartheyM

Back in June, I decided to take the "A to Z Challenge", which usually involves writing something centered around one word corresponding to each letter of the alphabet. It being a short story challenge, occurring weekly, I decided to "up the ante" to incorporate the rules of a Suggestion Box list (Name, Place, Time, and Object) and turn it into the next iteration of this series! Forthwith, I went through every letter of the alphabet and tried to look back over any previous story that I'd written (except the fanfiction) to find characters whose names began with each letter. Most of the time, I could find a character from a previous Suggestion Box installment (so be sure and check out the referred "original stories", always noted at the beginning of the tale!) but I also took the opportunity to use characters from other unfinished novels, and even a few opportunities for tie-in stories to my published novella, "Princess of Undersea."

He wasn't allowed to go to school until year seven because his father was afraid he'd reveal himself to the general population, the humans, the people Storm and the others of his kind are sworn to protect. Because Storm isn't an ordinary nineteen year old, as much as he'd love that to be the case. He's a warlock in training, taking a sports course during the day and learning magic with his father at night. He's always been a sensible boy, until he made the greatest mistake of his life... A mistake he may live to regret for eternity.

The first person who supported him was Isaac, who told him he was a wizard but said he could be a detective too if he wanted. Now, a year later, they're off the streets and starting to reach some kind of success. But the case of a young woman who thinks she's being followed is sure to change all of their lives... This was originally written for NaNoWriMo 2020. Trying to write 50k words of a novel in 3 weeks is a big challenge, so this is still a rough first draft. Any feedback would be much welcome.
