The lightning crackled above, the flash of light lining the dark she-cats pelt. "Are you sure about this Darkpaw?" the white she-cat next to her flicked her tail nervously. "Nightpaw, it's fine!" Darkpaw smiled, "These clan cats want to help us."

"What of they dont?" Nightpaw snapped suddenly. the dark she-cat looked at her, "What do you mean?" "Your my sister but I'm not putting myself in that clan." Before Darkpaw could react, her sister dashed off into the night, never to be seen again.

Thunder Rising

32 parts Complete

You will make things right. When the time comes, I know you will. The mountain cats have reached the end of the sun trail and have settled into their new homes. They were convinced that with plenty of territory and prey, they would be free of strife. But tensions rise as the once united group split into two---moor and forest. Caught in the middle is young Thunder, son of Clear Sky and brother to his sister, Rumble. Raised under Gray Wing's watchful eye, Thunder can't help longing to get to know the father he knew was so close. When a devastating fire streaks through the forest, Thunder's skills are put to the test. Impressed, Clear Sky offers Thunder and Rumble a chance to try out forest life and a place in his group. Thunder thought he would be happy, but the longer he stays in the forest, the more he realizes how different Clear Sky is from his brother. Despite his sister's place in the group, he can't find himself being happy around so many unknown cats and help Clear Sky guard his boundaries. Thunder finds himself having to make a difficult decision: is he with his father---or against him. Disclaimer: These books belong rightfully to Erin Hunter and their team. I am simply a stranger who loves to rewrite them and sneak in my own little ideas/characters/plot lines.
