At least half the world is depressed, and almost every single person has gone through depression at one time or the other because of course, life is messed up. But the fact that life is messed up, doesn't give anyone- not even YOU, the right to end it. You can't. You just can't.
This story follows the life of two high schoolers, one always extremely jovial & happy, and the other sad, gloomy and depressed. If one of them planned to commit suicide, then this is the story of what went down after. And if he did commit the suicide, this is the story of why he did it. And if he didn't commit the suicide, this is the story of what changed his mind. And if they both committed suicide, then this is the story of why that happened. You're gonna have to find out which it is yourself ;) Do enjoy. I put my heart in this book❤

I've realized something. Not everyone can be saved. You can try. But there'll always be that one person you couldn't save. You can't know everyone that needs saving. Some are pretty obvious. Others? Not so much. Some spend all their lives trying to hide the fact that they need help. Some are like an elevator. They open when their buttons are pressed. But close right after.

Warning: this book's focus is drawn to a character who hints themes of depression and self-harm. The idea of the story is to present the experience of learning to understand and comfort someone through these struggles. So while these themes are contained within a comical styled story, they are still present so please be mindful of that before you read on. You. You're just a normal girl. A normal girl with a normal life... until you meet the boy with blue hair... Name: unknown Age: unknown Human? Unknown How can someone live a life without anyone knowing of their existence? You don't know. But you want too. Determination fills you with a desire to seek more about this boy. There's just something about him that makes you want to know more. He meets your eye. Is a name really too much to ask? He refuses to give you one. If you keep investigating, you'll get hurt. You'll be killed. You'll regret it. It's not a warning. It's simply the truth. (This book is a representation of my experiences with dating someone with depression in high school. I wrote it while we were dating, subconsciously writing him into the character Infinity. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. All Zoey Campbell ever wanted to do was keep her head down and get through high school. Too bad it isn't that easy. Zoey is tired of everything and everyone. She is tired of being pushed around and tired of watching in the shadows. She is tired of pretending to like that girl that doesn't even know her name. Tired of pretending that she is ok when she isn't. She is constantly hoping for a better way out thinking she should just disappear. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Leaving the pain of her past behind her she starts a fresh in a new town with her older brother. Meeting the towns bad boy was not on her agenda but every time she saw him she was intrigued. He was rude and had a terrible attitude, but his eyes didn't show anything but pain which is something she knew all too well. They are complete opposites but have one thing in common.
