I can't remember the first time I heard it: the voice. It's almost like it has always been with me. I've spent years locked up in this asylum because of my "condition", yet if feels like it's the only thing keeping me sane.
How many years have I been locked in here for? I miss the sun, the wind on my face, to be able to feel the breeze lifting my hair.
It'll happen. It must. I will be free. The voices want it.
Josie was just a kid when her parents gave her to the Asylum for the voice that she was always hearing.
Growing up, all she had were sparse memories of a childhood with her brother, and the voice teaching her what she should've been learning in school.
As she escapes she is dragged into a world she didn't know she was a part of as she meets her mate.
But can he catch someone that has just found their freedom?

A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
