I can't remember the first time I heard it: the voice. It's almost like it has always been with me. I've spent years locked up in this asylum because of my "condition", yet if feels like it's the only thing keeping me sane. How many years have I been locked in here for? I miss the sun, the wind on my face, to be able to feel the breeze lifting my hair. It'll happen. It must. I will be free. The voices want it. Josie was just a kid when her parents gave her to the Asylum for the voice that she was always hearing. Growing up, all she had were sparse memories of a childhood with her brother, and the voice teaching her what she should've been learning in school. As she escapes she is dragged into a world she didn't know she was a part of as she meets her mate. But can he catch someone that has just found their freedom? ________________________________________________________________________________ This is the first book I wrote when I was super young, and it's currently undergoing heavy editing. All Rights Reserved
