I still haven't found anyone. It's been about two years since I last saw that lady. I wonder what my life would've been like if I had listened to her. My life now is pathetic, isn't it? Counting the days it's been ever since, struggling to survive in a place where it's winter every day... I wonder if I'm even on Earth anymore. My only companion is a wolf, I call him Andrew. It's my dad's name. I wonder if I'll stay here forever. Was this a curse? Was this supposed to happen to me? Can I even go back?
Well, probably not. But I'm going to do whatever I can to see them again. And if I can't do it... At least I tried.

Nora...I'm so...so- _____ "..." I exhale somberly as I flex my fingers to their best of limits, till the thick gauze and bandages force me to relax... How come I remember everything that happened? That doesn't really happen in resurrection right? Aren't I supposed to forget my past life? Well, I do still have my phone...and I look almost identical to before... Did I even die? Or did something else happen in those few seconds? _____ A seemingly normal yet depressed teen, only 19 and a half... Summer break should've been the beginning of blessing after blessing... But this was a nightmare...one that she somehow coped with...and continues to. _____ 'I don't have time to cry anymore-! Their gone! I'm dead! I'm just a dead memory to them now! Ever heard of the saying 'Don't dance with the devil?' Well, you better pray you don't have to Dance with the She Devil. ------------------------------------------------- They say history repeats itself in an endless cycle until humanity learns the lessons being taught. Just like an endless dance; People meet, waltz, fall in love, marry, and then die a tragic death. For thousands of years, humans lived and thrived with the naive belief that they were the only ones who existed. There were humans that did believe and sought to find out the truth. It is rare that a human is aware of the world that lives among them. Life went chaotic so mental stability was not in the plan for a long time. Amber's Apocalypse - A Travelogue Companion to This Is The Fall
April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun. I think it's the thing that got Dan...the thing that's almost gotten me. 'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. "This is a nightmare, it's only a nightmare..." I say to myself as I try to catch my breath while leaning against a tall pine tree. Only for a moment do I stay in that position until I hear a twig snap. I quickly leap away from the tree and run as fast as I can. "Wake up (Y/N)! just wake up!!!" I think to myself. "You are awake my dear..." I hear that voice. That damn voice. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" I scream. I continue to run past trees and hopping over large rocks. The mist in the air begins to get thicker as I continue this race. "Why me? out of all the people this had to happen to me!" my brain races with thoughts until my foot gets caught by a tree root sticking out of the ground. I fall hitting my head on a rock. My vision is blurry and I can feel a warm liquid begin to stream down my face. "My dear (Y/N), look what you have done to yourself. You shouldn't have tried to run away." the voice goes through my head again. I look around and see nothing but trees. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" My voice begins to grow sore from the constant running and yelling. The sound of leaves crunching comes from behind me and I whip my head around until my eyes are met with him. "My dear (Y/N), you've made quite the mess of yourself. You know you are not aloud to leave......now you'll have to be punished." The figure says without any facial expression or motion. The figure begins to walk forward towards me. I try to back away until my vision becomes black and all I can hear is static.

"What the hell are you?" I screamed. The more I scooted away towards the darkness, the more their eyes glowed. I hyperventilated as they grew nearer and nearer. "Calm down, human. Come quietly and we might not kill you." I stumbled to my feet and ran. I didn't make it far before I was swiped off my feet. My body painfully hit the ground and I gasped for air. My aching body screamed at me to get up. I began to drag myself away. Even if I didn't make it, at least I tried. I was lifted and easily thrown into a tree. The force vibrated through my body. I coughed up blood as I landed. I lay on my stomach, unable to move. Is this how everything ends? Is this how I die? I can't die here. A foot stomped itself onto my back. An empty, breathless scream came out of me. "You stupid human. What a lowlife. I changed my mind. Who wants worthless trash like you? Die quickly, will you?" The pressure intensified by the second. I screamed in pain. No. No. No. I was about to give up on hope. A voice boomed through the forest. It was full of anger, dominance, and blood-thirst. It sent shivers down every inch of my body. The ship was heading straight into a sea of rocks, and the mast was on fire. My father, yelled, "Get off the ship! Clara, Run!" That's what I did. But now I am stuck on this land, mystery coursing through it. I was stuck, and I had no one to help me. I was now on my own. An 18-year-old girl, named Clara. Was now stuck. "Help us..." I look down, seeing two twins sitting on the ground, backs leaning against the wall. As it rains I can see them trembling pitifully in the cold rain, as I was warm under my umbrella. "You have a lot of explaining to do young lady." I turned around to see Vincent and James with only shorts on. "I don't know what you mean?" I said innocently. I looked around to see Ethan gone. "We mean how did your wounds heal so quickly?" Vincent replied. "Well to get an answer you will have to catch me first." I said running off letting my wolf take over once again, Natalie shifts into my wolf and takes off.
