Just a little novel that I'm going to write chapter by chapter, but uploading the Prologue first.
Liam Peterson is a ten year old boy who is starting to go through depression caused by constant bullying by other children at Clyde Hawkins Elementary School, "the school of chaos", as according to his best friend; Maya Johnson. Throughout this novel is a journey of depression and how most children who get diagnosed young deal with it. It is told through Liam's POV. Enjoy ;)

Jayden, the youngest boy, who is the same age as her, despises her the most. Throughout the book, his backstory, along with many other dark secrets will be figured out. Author's Note: I wrote this book when I was a teenager, during a time when I was working through a lot of intense feelings and experiences in my own life. The story reflects that period of my imagination and emotional processing. Some of the content involves abuse, bullying, and mental health struggles, and it may be difficult or triggering for some readers. I've shared this story because it helped me feel seen and understood when I needed it most, and I hope it can offer some sense of connection or comfort to others as well. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things.
