Mature
Calliope and her brother Caleb grew up in the drug game because of their father, King. That wasn't his given name, but the one that the streets had made for him. He was ruler of all until his fatal downfall ten years ago at the hands of his own men. Calliope ran away from that life seeing the toll it took on her father and the pain it caused her mother, while Caleb ran towards it and nonetheless with his best friend Michael. Together they avenged King's death and took his place as the unstoppable duo.

Five years ago Calliope lost touch with her brother and then-lover Michael Jackson as they chose ruling the drug game over her, but now Michael's hurt and Caleb is enlisting Calliope's help. Calliope finds herself falling victim to her ex-lovers touch, but high-tailing her way out the first chance she gets.

Except this time Michael isn't so willing to let her leave.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
