Olivia is a 16 year old junior in high school who lives with her abusive alcoholic grandmother. Other then a terrible relationship with her mom, She has everything going for, she's at the top of her class, she's on the cheer team and she has the best boyfriend at the school. When Olivia's mom comes to town she finally finds out who her father is and why her mother neglected her.
Carmen is a teen mom and the cousin of Olivia. Super close with her cousin because who better to relate to a struggle you've gone through then someone who went through it with you?
