Olivia is a 16 year old junior in high school who lives with her abusive alcoholic grandmother. Other then a terrible relationship with her mom, She has everything going for, she's at the top of her class,  she's on the cheer team and she has the best boyfriend at the school.  When Olivia's mom comes to town she finally finds out who her father is and why her mother neglected her. 

Carmen is a teen mom and the cousin of Olivia. Super close with her cousin because who better to relate to a struggle you've gone through then someone who went through it with you? Carmen is waiting for her baby daddy to finish basic training so they can run off and get married. How will Olivia be affected when her team mate is gone?

Jalissa has been Olivia's best friend since they were six years old. Jalissa's family is broken. Her Dad drives trucks and every time he goes away her mom cheats. Jalissa spends most of her time jumping from guy to guy so she doesn't have to go home and hear her mother's promiscuous moaning. Jalissa thinks Olivia's life is perfect and plots to sleep with her best friends boyfriend.
