Before closing the door, the tallest of the Keepers pierced his icy eyes into Ernest's and asked him sternly, 

"You understand why she chose the Recreation System. Correct?"

Ernest held his gaze for a moment, then nodded in affirmation. The Keeper nodded back and promptly shut the door.

Ernest understood the systems well. The Labour System would work you until you bled, the Service System was for juveniles and minor misdemeanors to complete the mundane, tedious and  mind numbing tasks that others did not want to do and the Defense System would make you a Keeper. Every system was corrupt but the Recreation System was the most unpredictable of them all. That being said, Ernest was certain of one thing, the Recreation System was the hardest to get out of alive.
