The blood was dark red, surrounded around his body forming a puddle. She fell on her knees, the blood was stained on her jeans but she didn't care about that. It was like a force was telling her to turn around and call someone, anyone but she couldnt. After kicking the wall, she ran outside of the door to get help.❞
Vita was a 18 year old senior girl at Lone Pine College. She had been to the rugged high-school for a long time with her best friend and secret crush, Seth.
Until the day he died.
He died right before her eyes, and she couldn't do anything to stop it. Vita sat there frozen in time. She choked out her tears, it was like she could explode at any moment.
In all the mess and cluster of her life after Seth's death, she meets a familiar face; Connell Taegan.
Even though she denies everybody out of her life, maybe- just maybe he would get under her skin to a point of no separation.

I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! It was a normal day, until we heard those static noises. The next thing you know everyone is running out the classrooms. I can hear students screaming and running. When I step out I see bodies all over the floor. My old friends covered with blood, like a red blanket covering them. Follow as a group of students try to escape this hell. Their past catches up to them. They have to face reality and stop trying to hide the past. What they didn't expect was for the past to catch up so quickly.
