During her first week at Barden, Chloe discovers a piece of music that helps give her inspiration for a music assignment she is having difficulty with. Chloe soon meets Beca Mitchell, an aspiring music producer. Beca agrees to help Chloe with her music assignment and the two quickly fall for each other, giving Chloe the rest of the inspiration she needs for her assignment. However, something happens between the two girls, which causes Chloe to stop seeing Beca. In Chloe's absence, Beca makes a shocking discovery about who Chloe really is and it's up to Beca to save their relationship forever.

Set in an alternative universe, Beca and Chloe have been dating for a few years and are hopelessly in love with each other but one day their happy relationship hits quite a big bump, causing the two women to have a falling out. Both women believe that the other has it much easier than themselves and end up switching bodies. Beca and Chloe have to learn how to live together but most importantly, stay together. Can they do it or will this bump be the end of their relationship?

Set in an alternative universe, Chloe Beale has recently become a regular at Bantam Royal Records where she has developed a massive crush on the new employee Beca Mitchell. Chloe is a bright and bubbly redhead but when it comes to Beca, she shuts down and has to regain her confidence in order to pursue her desires for the younger woman. When she finally regains her confidence, Beca and Chloe undergo an exciting and rather trepidatious journey together, which ends in rather unusual circumstances.
