Four months after her mother's death, Tess and her brother are sent from their home in Oregon to live with their father in LA. Her father had left her mother when she was six, and Tess was not very fond of him, but still she was forced to adapt. The only thing that has helped her cope is knowing that she could go to the beach and escape into the ocean's bliss as a lifeguard. Then she meets Daniel, her coworker. She begins to find herself through Daniel. Is she beginning to feel true love? Or does she just want him to have someone to turn to? Tess will learn one thing - Life is too short for regrets.
