In a world overrun by humans taken over by a parasitic Frankenstein - Jake, a foreigner come to America to escape his familial issues, finds himself hard pressed to survive. It doesn't make things any easier when he inadvertently finds himself the guardian of a 12 year old orphan, and the leader to a 33 year old non-verbal man with Autism, a 28 year old tattoo-artist with achondroplasia, and a 17 year old with spina bifidia in a world gone mad.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.

the world is told to be fright. and the inside is not much better, safe from whatever is outside. but this boy, Jake, does not believe it completely, could be one of the government's lies to keep them contained. then things start to change, things that turn for the worse. Jake is more determined then ever to escape this hell will he succeed or fall as others have before? (there is no sexual context in any way, but there is gruesome death and consistent swearing, but No sexual content is present. this is a book inspired by "the girl with all the gifts" and "maze runner" if you like those books, this is a suggested book for me.) Also feedback and thoughts on this book would be great thank you!
