The first arc of the Shizue's Playground saga, written by Warriorlass93 & SonKero.

Aly, Jimmy, Piper and Damien were hit by the radioactive waves of a strange meteor that hit earth causing them each to have strange and wonderful powers as children. Being outcasted by their fellow students, the four kids grew up together. 

But with great power comes both fear and responsibility, and sometimes power can be overwhelming for four young children. After making a pact to never touch their powers again, they remained friends. 

A couple decades later trouble arises and the four must break the pact and learn to control their powers so they can protect themselves. Apparently they weren't the only ones hit by the meteors. 

What other people could have such powers? What would happen if those powers were in the wrong hands? And with so much going on and a lifetime of friendship how do you tell the one you love how you feel?

In this coming of age novel, four young adults are learning what it means to be a family, and that family comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. Overcoming unspeakable odds, fatal encounters, learning who they are, and experiencing love that lasts lifetimes.
