As many cliched stories go, high school is similar to a monarchy. Sometimes you have your devilishly handsome king who either smirks or broods. Sometimes you have beautiful queen who is more plastic than actual skin. Sometimes the higher roles are reserved and instead high school is ruled by the young and kind prince that girls can't help but drool over. Sometimes there is a nice and dainty princess who is so kind people can't help but hate her. At Elk Valley High School, there were no crowns. No king with gorgeous dark eyes or sparkling blonde hair. No queen with perfectly shaped eyebrows or permanent sneers. No prince with baby blue eyes or famous parents. No princess with kind doe like eyes or a loving nature. None. Just jokers. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **not a story regarding the DC characters** The amazing cover was created by @turquoisedust! A story of growth. A story of friendship. A story of love. Also a story of constant clichés and some slightly-unbelievable-situations, but that's fine. It's the story of Cinderella. Or, at least, it's the story of Sadie and Noah, which happens to involve Cinderella. You see, this isn't just any Cinderella story. It's a story about two very different people who wind up in a quite peculiar situation together. Their only way out of this situation is to put differences aside and work together. Their journey, which involves a few fires, an idiotic prince, a couple of evil villains and, of course, a ball, awaits. Are Sadie and Noah ready to take on such a challenge? You'll have to read to find out. ** "Look, believe me or don't believe me, but look around you. You're here whether you like it or not." Constance said, crossing her arms as she floated behind the two. They turned around to face her. "And why are we here again?" Sadie asked, beginning for the first time to feel scared. She felt like she didn't know anything about life anymore. Everything had suddenly taken so many different turns. Nothing was what she thought it was. Constance uncrossed her arms. "Oh. I need your help to save Cinderella."
