As many cliched stories go, high school is similar to a monarchy. Sometimes you have your devilishly handsome king who either smirks or broods. Sometimes you have beautiful queen who is more plastic than actual skin. Sometimes the higher roles are reserved and instead high school is ruled by the young and kind prince that girls can't help but drool over. Sometimes there is a nice and dainty princess who is so kind people can't help but hate her.

At Elk Valley High School, there were no crowns. No king with gorgeous dark eyes or sparkling blonde hair. No queen with perfectly shaped eyebrows or permanent sneers. No prince with baby blue eyes or famous parents. No princess with kind doe like eyes or a loving nature.

None.

Just jokers.

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. Hey kids. Do you love watpadd? Are you tired of cliche's? Do you just want to read something funny? Well here's the book for you. Its a humourous parody for watpadd cliches. All you have to do is check it out. You'll fall in love. She was a storm; not the kind you run from, oh no... The kind you chase. ••• What is this idiot doing? He's making a scene, people are staring. Oh God please kill me now. I close my eyes and pray; Oh God just let the ground open up and swallow me... Pretty please? I peek from one eye to check if I've magically teleported... Nope! Still in this nightmare. "will... You... Marry... Me?", he stops singing and looks at me hopefully. Tristan why?! Why you gotta be so weird all the time? I look around to see the crowd watching wide eyed. Some look at me expectantly while the others look like they're about to cry due to this sham of affectionate 'love'. Oh what do I do now? "Tristan... We're in -. "She said yes!" they all applaud ecstatically. 'I hate people'
