The story starts off as Scorchfeather as the main character (a young warrior in RavenClan -- story takes place after the war between the Dark Forest and StarClan[and the clans]). He falls in love with a rogue named Dawn, but she drives him out of her life after she finds out she's expecting his kits. She dies in a fight soon after the kits are born (Storm and Jade). The kits learn how to survive on their own, but when Jade dies, Storm goes looking for his fathers Clan -- but he soon realizes that Scorchfeather has a whole new family, and Dawn is just an old memory.
