A Prince and a Skin-Changer

Y/N is half dwarf and half elvish skin-changer. She is a very special skin-changer because she can shift into a white dragon. She's on a hunt for her long lost Godfather the only semblance of family she has left, when Gandalf approaches her about helping the dwarves of Erebor reclaim their home. She goes to the meeting in the shire where she meets some interesting characters along with a very handsome dwarf. What will happen on this journey, will Y/N find more than she bargained for, or will she find exactly what she's looking for, or both.
Recently got inspired by other authors on here and wanted to try my hand at writing, so please forgive and spelling or grammar errors and hope you enjoy reading my story.
I do not own The Hobbit or any of its characters, I only own my character, everything is owned by J. R.R. Tolkien.

A problem like this could mean the exposing of the most closely guarded secret a girl has ever held, for dwarves fear and hunt what they believe to be a threat. The Lord of the Rings: An unlikely Reincarnation
After Isildur cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand, Sauron's soul split. While one half followed the canon path, the other half was flung across Middle-earth, taking the last remaining fragment of Mairon and something more. This story will start in The Hobbit and continue on to The Lord of the Rings. (English isn't my first language, so please excuse all of my grammatical mistakes.) It becomes much more problematic than your usual adventure wherein the reader is a skin changer with alpha blood that allows her to shift into any creature; all she has to do is merely look at the animal she wants to turn into. Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? For the reader, it's a whole new journey in more ways than one. Neither parties want to give up their mate as they are only blessed with just one in a lifetime.
