Everybody knows Scotty. She's the IT girl of North West High School. She's beautiful, smart and kind. People either love her or envy her and she has no idea why. Scotty has been closed off from the world for a very long time and the only person who truly knows her is her younger sister, Sarah. She feels disconnected from all the people in her life that she should be close with; from her boyfriend, her friends, and her parents. With no idea of what she truly wants and her choices constantly determined by other people, Scotty just rolls with the punches. But how much can a person take before they break through and are set free?
Everybody knows Danny. If you ask anyone at South East High School, they'll tell you he's the best guy. He's the shining star on three different sports teams, a straight A student and an all around good person. He's a bit of a player, but what teenage boy isn't? Helping out his dad comes first, along with getting a college basketball scholarship, and of course, demolishing North West in sports till the day he graduates.
The rivalry between these two high schools runs deep and everyone knows it. The two cliques interact but hold no close bonds with each other and that's the way it always been. So what happens when Scotty meets the one person who makes her feel alive? Danny feels it too and both will have to get their priorities straight and see where their loyalties lie
