(Sci-Fi; in a post-apocalyptic future) Our entire lives, there were only them and us. We were people. The supposed "good ones". A species determined to exist in this cruel world while they tried to take it away from us. Well, maybe back then aliens were some kind of fantasy that only showed on television and in movies, but as soon as you were enlisted a militia to go hunt those fuckers every single week for the rest of you life, you usually have a tendency to start believing in them.

It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table. They are a family, working together to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near. When the aliens of A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. No matter the cost. Warning - This story may have (I'm not sure if all of these will be included, but just in case) -Rape -Abuse -Suicidal thoughts and actions -Self-harm -Violence and gore -Uncomfortable scenes (If this isn't your first alien pet book, you know what I'm talking about)

Modern civilization ended when Silver Spheres descended from heaven. From them emerged Demon Robots that resembled an endless flock of Giant Locusts.
