When Delilah’s recent break-up happens everything changes, she realizes that she can’t let people walk all over her any more; she also realizes boys are assholes and all they care about are looks and sex. This was seriously something you only read about in books, the girl dumps the boy and gets a new one who is ten times better, but that’s not the case. Delilah loses friends, she loses trust, she loses everything she ever loved, until a guy texts her randomly and gets her number, as they talk more they start to like each other, and they become internetal best friends. She also has the childhood memory of a boy who she’s liked since they met but they never talked; she doesn’t even know his name just his old jersey number 42.

Delilah meets Colton at a football game when he arrives early and it isn’t even his school’s game. They realize they have some stuff in common but will a random talk between Colton and his brother (Greyson) about how their adopted have Delilah wondering about the rest of Colton’s secrets?

Now Delilah’s really stuck she doesn’t even know who 42 is but she’s still determined to find him.

She wants to meet sporty but will they ever, they said secret forever but will the secret get out?

Colton is nice but the fact that he can’t tell the truth might turn Delilah right away because of her past, or will Greyson end up not being such a bad ass reform school kid with a few good secrets.
