Also features returning characters such as Emmy Altava, Don Paolo, Dimitri Allen, Clive and even Bronev. Luke and Flora return to normality in London though Flora is still getting used to life there. After an explosion occurs nearby, Luke notices someone who looks oddly enough like Professor Layton himself. But when an old threat rises, threatening the peace of innocent people, and a new antagonist leads them, planning to destroy all of London, will Luke be able to team up with Flora to solve mysteries and find the Professor? Though, it seems Luke may need some additional hands to help solve the mysteries. What happens when old rivals and some old friends emerge from the shadows? Will they help him? Or will they too be a threat to society? Can Luke and the rest of the mystery solving team stop the new threat rising? Or is it just a distraction for something more dangerous to come?
