A wonderful thing has happened at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Starlight has given birth to four beautiful pups! They are all healthy and very unique. However as hard times fall on the school and the war with Erik or Magneto draws closer Starlight feels as if having her pups was a mistake. What if something happens to them that she can't stop? She is also having trouble with Poultice who seems to be at odds when it comes to controlling his power. When a truly tragic event strikes Starlight's family she is left to wonder will this be the last battle that she will fight in?
