Ever since she was a child, December Hel has been tormented by Lucas Harper. She lived in Solis, a world were humans and vampire live in peace, but Lucas was anything but peaceful. He was everywhere she went: school, parties, her house. She was sick of being bullied by a vampire she hated. She was heading off for college, and couldn't wait to get out.

But then, Lucas does something unexpected. He tries to make peace with December and become friends, but she won't have it. She keeps pushing him away further and further, not realizing that his feelings were at steak, as well as her own. Realizing she's hurting him, December opens up to Lucas, but Lucas now remains closed.

Until December becomes in mortal danger, and the only one to save her from this race of vampires who come from the vampire world of Tenebrea is Lucas himself... And the secrets he kept from her even after he opened up. December must embrace Lucas's dark side, along with Lucas himself, but... Will it cost December's her life to believe? And maybe even her after life?
