Born with leukemia, seven-year-old Ella Stewart wants to make the most out of every little everything in life. So when she makes, what she calls, a 'Life List', of course, going on a road trip with her eighteen-year-old sister, Summer is at the top.

Who wouldn't want to spend their whole summer in a beat up Volkswagen?

Summer Stewart, just graduating from high school, plans on doing nothing this summer except meeting hot guys, taking her sister to the hospital for her special treatments, and hanging out with her friends. Of course, her parents don't agree with her summer plans, so they make her do everything on Ella's 'Life List', even if it means pulling a few strings...or a lot.

Now Summer and Ella are about to have the adventure of their lives. Even if they don't know it just yet.
