It has been said that by the year 2050, all of the world's oceans will be completely fishless. This would mean that every living creature in every ocean on earth would be replaced by a piece of plastic. If the world's population continued on that same path for another 50 years, what would happen? How would life be for humans? There's no way for you and me to know that for certain, but if we don't imagine the possibilities, then these outcomes climb closer and closer to reality. This story is from the point of view of an average person living in the year 2100, having been raised on humanity's new customs and culture.
