What does one do when they slowly and painfully watch the world around them turn into a nightmare?

 Do we stand there and do nothing? Do we fight with all out might? But what if its too late?

  I sat against the tree, the rough bark leaving slight feelings of pain on my back. I tried to not look at the body that lied dead in front of me.
  
    I took slow breaths trying to calm myself. I held onto my backpack as if it was my life. My head throbbed against the tree and the pain in my arm was stronger than ever.
  
    But none of that compared to the grief I felt inside.

All the wolves could do is hope that they would not spill as much blood as other packs have in the past, creating chaos between their trinity: the Lhight, the Spirits and the Dream Weaver. They couldn't let that happen again... who has the guts to venture out and find out what the humans are planning? Join Thunder, as he embarks on the quest to seek out how the humans have been obliterating nature so effortlessly. She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I jumped.
