An unexpected blizzard hits New York, and the storm causes many buildings to have a power cut.
Evangeline is trying to get home for her first holiday from work in weeks, so she can spend time with her family and friends.
Chris is just back from a year long art expedition in Egypt. So much has changed since he's left, he's struggling to get his life back together.
These two unlikely souls get caught together in a blackout with no way to leave because of the blizzard.
Can they salvage their Christmas?
Or are they in for a very boring night?
