     Sebastián Belmonte, new CCPD detective fresh from his Greenville transfer, has a tough time adjusting to life in Central City with his adopted son Holden. He chose Central City for his transfer because he wants nothing more than to protect his son from the cruelties of the Nebraskan town which they lived in. And while the new city is full of oddities and meta-humans that defy the laws of nature as we know them, Sebastián struggles with accepting this new information as he finds his place in the police department. 

     While his on and off again partner Joe West seems content with Sebastián's position there, he can't help but notice something both Joe and his newest friend, Barry Allen, keep hiding from him. On top of that, Holden is keeping things from him too. He's determined to find out what it is by running headfirst into the fire but doing so puts his life in danger he doesn't even know about. And while Sebastián can't deny the feelings he has for the handsome and intelligent CSI, he appreciates honesty above everything and Barry needs to be forthcoming with his secrets, for better or for worse.
