When a normal life is disrupted by an evil act, the consequences become like that of a stone thrown into water, rippling ever out, ever further.
Shelley is thrown from the life she knew into one of turmoil, a life in which she no longer recognises her self nor the decisions she is forced to make.
She isn't the same Shelley now and must face the fact that every decision is attached by invisible rope to its consequence. Some may be insignificant but there are others which will destroy her.
