I grab his arm to stop him. "What's your problem?" I ask him.

"My problem is I wish you would just trust me." He says sternly.

I drop my hand from his arm and look into his eyes. "Give me a reason." I whisper. "Tell me the truth."

"I've never lied to you Carley, ever." He says.

"You know that's not what I meant." I tell him. "You cant just tell me not to believe what people have said and leave it at that."

He stares at me for a long moment and then looks away from me.

"Why does it matter you couldn't believe me back then how's it going to be any different now?" He asks me his eyes cold.

"Try me." I whisper stepping closer to him until we're chest to chest, toe to toe.

I stare up into his eyes and they seem to melt almost instantly.
