The city bustles as each person brushes, stumbles, or runs past one another. But if you stop for a moment and stand still, the heart of chaos may inspire you. Or it may frustrate you, or maybe if your lucky it will bring you something you never knew. As she stood and stared at the blurred faces, her luck finally came through.

"Give me ten days." He whispered, fighting my reluctance to look into his eyes. "Ten days?" I asked, crossing my arms. Did this guy think that this was a joke? Or a game? No names, no secrets, no lies, no feelings, right? ╰☆╮ He raises an eyebrow at my demand, but decides to humor me. He leans against his motorcycle, crossing his arms across his chest. "Alright, what do you have in mind?" "What about getting to know each other without names?" "Damn, I missed my chance to ask. Now we will be both unnamed." He let out a little laugh. Which is nice so I do the same thing. "We don't need to be unnamed, just not our real names or last names. So what's your FAKE name?" I did put emphasis on the word fake and started smiling, and so did he.
Raising Hell
"I starved myself but I never died. I have no idea how I survived that long without food. The floors I slept on where of moldy brick and sometimes a rat would curl up to my neck. I stopped caring. The warmth kept me sane." I took a deep breath and continued. "The worst part was not knowing. Not knowing what happened to my team. Not knowing happened to my city. I couldn't do anything but stare out the tiny slit of light from under the door. That was my life, that light. I didn't know what time of day it was but that light told me I was still alive. Without it would be darkness." I hear her shift in her chair but stay with my eyes closed. "I think the only thing that kept me going was the pain. It sounds strange but I loved feeling it. It made me feel alive, I still had something. It was the only thing that kept me thinking I wasn't one of the rats. Pain, I realized, was worth it. Because the pain reminded me that I was breathing and awake. And that maybe one day if I ever got out that maybe that pain would go away."Complete
Fell For A Stranger
His rich, velvety voice sent thrills down my spine as he spoke my name. His intense, mesmerising gaze focused on mine, making it impossible to look away. As he drew me closer, his powerful arms wrapped around me, and I could feel the warmth of his breath against my skin. The aroma of his fragrance, a seductive blend of spice and musk, filled the air, making my heart race and my senses whirl. It's as if every aspect of him is intended to captivate and enchant me, keeping me completely entranced. Release me," I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up as I stubbornly avoided his gaze. He let go like he had forgotten to do so. For a few seconds, neither of us said anything. I fiddled with the hem of my sleeve, pretending I was calm, while secretly screaming inside. Why is he just standing there? Say something, idiot! Finally, he broke the silence. "So, why were you ignoring me?" he asked in low, almost accusing. "Why would I ignore you?" I lied without flinching, acting like innocent. But he wasn't buying it. "I saw you," he said, stepping a little closer. "You ducked behind a door like you were dodging bullets. You thought I wouldn't notice?" Ugh, busted. I rolled my eyes. "Maybe I just didn't have any reason to confront you," I replied, crossing my arms as a shield against how close he was now. He leaned in slightly, smirking, "Oh, but you had plenty of reasons to hang around those guys at the swimming pool, huh?" he shot back. "I was just... talking," I said defensively. "It's called being social. You should try it sometime instead of lurking around like a spy." He chuckled, "Lurking? Please. I was just passing by. I was surprised when I saw you laughing with those guys like you were starring in some rom-com." I refuse to back down. "And what if I was?" I challenged. He didn't flinch. Instead, he tilted his head with a mock-thoughtful expression. "Then I guess I'd have to remind you... there are better options around " he said, tapping his chest casually.Complete

She shook her head to try and clear her mind. He watched her in amusement. "Um sorry," she mumbled, "I think I'm hearing things." She laughed awkwardly, letting her eyes stray from his face and look at anything else she could possibly look at. "No you weren't," he corrected her. "You heard right." She lifted her head in surprise and he was already smirking. The glint in his eyes told her that he wasn't lying either. Her heart swelled and she bit her lip instinctively. He groaned. "Fuck Delilah don't do that," his eyes darkened as he admired her plump lips, waiting for the moment he could kiss them. "Hey! You dropped your wallet in - " Emma's words die in her mouth as she glances down upon a picture tucked in the wallet. A picture of her and the blue-eyed stranger to be exact - one in which he's kissing her cheek as she lovingly gazes at the camera. Shocked to her core, and frankly terrified as well, she looks up to see the same stranger intently staring at her. "Emma," he breathes cautiously, "I can explain." Fate is a twisted yet beautiful thing. If two people are meant to be together, no force on earth or heavens can ever tear them apart. So it is decided that at the end of the day, the boy she left behind will catch up and sweep her off her feet.
