Who the hell moves from Sydney, Australia to Dallas, Texas? Well apparently we do; my mother and I. There are so many changes and I can't help but feel out of place around all these country folk. ~~~~~~ after Jakes dad dies of a horrible car crash, Jake and Jayne, his mother decide to get a a fresh start. But what happens after Jake notices something mysterious about a girl at school? And also the strange thing that happens to himself? What happened and how is it possible? What happens when Jake discovers something that his mother tried to hide from him as long as possible? And what happens when there are random people dying all around Texas? Who or what is killing them, and why? There are many more questions but if we list them all it will take forever. This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3.
