However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! Trust for Izuku Aizawa was a fickle thing, he'd constantly be forced to switch between trusting someone with his whole heart to hating them with every fiber of his being. Such was the story of his father, his teachers, his classmates, his old friends, hell even his own mother (though he never did or ever could hate her). The only person he trusted was his sister and it stayed that way for a long, long time. It stayed that way until he was adopted by Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, he gained a new brother and sister both of whom he loved dearly. He finally felt able to trust the people around him and it was a breath of fresh air for not only him but his sister as well. There were bumps in the road but his new family stayed together.
