Lord of the Flies, girl-on-the-island fanfiction. Probably rated Teen. Original character belongs to me, but nothing else. Dezibelle Xeng is my OC, based off of one of my friends from Hoboken. (She begged to be part of this story in return for helping me with the American bits.) This is a modern AU, based off of the book, the '63 movie and a little of the '90s movie (for Simon's character only). The rest belongs to William Golding.

The Lord of the Flies is a very famous novel by William Golding, first published in 1954. Since then it has been studied by millions of school pupils, including myself. In this story I will write a reimagining of the story, using most of the same characters and the same situation with everyone stranded on an island. But this time Jack will be much more successful in his bid to be chief. There will be some other changes too, including a couple of girls among the boys! This time it will not be only all boys!
