A world with powers is something people only see in the movies. Writing stories about it is only for pure entertainment.

A world with powers is bizarre to regular humans like herself. It would never be true in the living world and if it were claimed to be seen, it's brushed off as a trick of the eye. 

Katerina Slade was known as a regular teenager. As regular as you could be in this new era in New Metro. Although, her past is about to contradict with whatever she believed before hand. She gets dragged into a situation, and is unaware that she had always been in danger.
