Graham Audlin, a young cleric of the Faith, has been sent to the remote mining village of Greyridge situated high up in the icy mountains of Úbon. He is expected to one day replace the aging priest stationed at the village temple. When a tremor shakes the mountain, its causes an avalanche to tear through the village and leave many villagers trapped inside the nearby mines.
