Last Chance
Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. The most common phrase he hears is, 'Why can't you be more like your brother?' He made it through the years due to his only friend. A female childhood friend of both his and his brother, Amy Halland. But one sentence from her has sent Kai over the edge. The phrase he never thought he would hear from her. Yet it happened. Without hope he gives up, right after the sentence he decides to end his existence. He jumps from the school's roof ignoring the shouts from Amy. Yet it still didn't work. He wakes to found himself in a land unknown to him. A land full of magic, knights, and hero's. Unknowing that his current body is in hospital in a coma. Floating islands, magical creatures, mysterious plants. All she knows is there are creatures that appeared to be men after her, only they resembled more of demons. Her new companion, Kaulder, has set out on a mission to restore her memory and save her from these awful men. Giving the lost girl a name and companionship. He shows her the glimmering world around as they head off on a mission to find a seer to bring back what she had lost. He hoped this creature could heal her broken memory. But at what cost? Kaiju "paradise"
20 chapters of Kaiju Paradise short stories, although for some of them, shorts an under statement. Most(not all) characters mentioned are not ocs and I made them up on the spot. If for some reason you wanna steal one, ask. I recommend you read this because like most KP players, I am biased. Mature due a small amount of fighting elements and I don't want to risk this getting deleted. NR= Not revised. Currently under revision to make it easier to read, editing spacing and punctuation. Also removing random unnecessary comments I made during the story. Changing most chapters from first person, it's horrendous. If you don't know what kaiju paradise is but don't want to spend time going through the wiki, this book will not make sense for the most part.)
