She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean. I am a doctor with wings, one who doesn't belong here. I know, stereotypical. But it's true. Still confused? I used to be an angel. I caused the apocalypse of the planet inhabited by the very creatures I was supposed to help. It was the only way to help them, really. But that's a different story for a different day. Now, the surviving humans have emerged from the rubble, soaking in the damage left over from my destructive actions. What are they supposed to do about that? I have been cast upon earth, given the task of taking care of them and healing them. I suppose I have to clean up after myself. I doubt, however, that I have any chance of returning home to Elvirund. He's about to turn fourteen when he starts to hallucinate and have nightmares. Lemon's not sure whether it has to do with the fact that the trelian characteristics show on your fourteenth bornday, a banned being that is sought after and killed at any chance, but Grati starts acting suspicious. Suddenly, he's kidnapped for his own protection and joins Fox, a street girl who Grati saw in his last vision from the Star People. What will they do now? They have to find a way out of the mai before they're surely found, and killed. A short story for middle school readers. Please do not copy anything of the story, as this is my original work. This is my first story on here, so let me know if you want more.

When push comes to shove how much can Sorcha really trust Cantral, but does she have a choice? Tragedy strikes when Sorcha is reunited with Sask and their friendship is irrevocably changed. Can they work through their grief and can Sorcha subdue the urge to push away everyone she cares about?

So before anything is said, it is important to note that this story is a spin-off of CrystalScherer's upon wings of change. It is highly suggested that you read their story first before this one, but of course that is entirely up to you. Everyone knows about the government kidnapping people and using them in experiments that utilizes alien technology which transforms them into little dragonets. But what if there was more alien technology that was discovered elsewhere, technology which was quite different from that of the main project. Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. It had been eleven years since Crab had died. And Jellyfish missed him. Her brother was the only reason she was alive, and it felt as though it was her fault that he was dead. Life was awful now. Every dragon had a target on their back, and going up to the surface was quite a dangerous task. The remaining dragons of Pyrrhia have waged war on each other, each believing that they had the right solution to fix everything. But in Jellyfish's eyes, it was all so, so wrong. But as bad as it is, Jellyfish has a mostly normal teenage life. Friends to hang out and laugh with, school to keep her occupied, and the constant desire to love and go to parties. It really couldn't get worse, right? It did, though. Danger and hatred swoop in on two wings into Jellyfish's life, and it will never, ever be the same. Plus a really creepy prophecy. We love those. Your enemies can cut you, but they will never be the ones to scar you.

A fan fiction based off of Crystal Scherer's story, 'Upon Wings of Change'. After the lab was abandoned by the flock, all of the eggs were assumed to be dead. No one remained to care for one last egg still clinging to life deep within the facility. Hatching alone and with no memory of his past, a silver dragonet sets out to try and survive in a world changed by alien invasion. And when tragedy strikes, he struggles to learn to forgive... and to build a friendship out of his hate. Many, many thanks to Pheonix for the cover art! :D
