While enjoying their tenth anniversary in Rome, the Remingtons' blissful vacation comes to a sudden halt; the Central Intelligence Agency offers their security firm, Dark Angel, a large sum of money to perform an illegal assassination. Lexi, a spitfire Texan, is eager to accept the contract, despite her husband's urges against it. Unable to sway his wife, Sam yields to her wishes and gathers the team - a drunken Russian, a cocky Marine veteran, and a chain-smoking German.

Things aren't always what they seem, as politicians play the Remingtons like pawns. The mercenaries are thrown into a chaotic and complex battleground of scandals, espionage, and violence.
