But a strange new disease, lethal and attacking only the Kashi has struck, they may have only one choice When a Lyderis is lost forever to the sickness, panic races through the Kashi colony, three girls know that they have to come out of hiding. Hidden in the crevices of an old Kashi Hideout, Kai, Ash, and Evony discover the ancient papers, possibly containing the cure... however they quickly discover that they are not the only ones hunting for answers. The government doesn't like the rise in population of the Kashi, and they've hired bounty hunters to start raiding the hideouts.
